Brightwork update, plus bowsprit work continues...

2 Coats of Signature Finish Clear. NO these are not wet, this is almost cured!

2 more coats will go on before we're done, should be a piano finish by then!

Work continued yesterday after work on the bowsprit. I used the plug cutters I bought at Harbor Freight to drill out the old screws left in the sprit from the saws all. Then used them to cut new bungs from an extra piece of teak I had left over from my Catalina 25.

Never throw any boat parts away! :)

Also drilled out the bung for the anchor roller so we can
replace the roller and bar after finishing.

Used a forster bit to drill out the hole left from the house screw that
broke off to the exact size of a bung I made.
It won't match perfectly but will be better than a hole.

Next up will be to break out the epoxy and get the two pieces of the sprit back together, fill the holes left from the removal from the bow and finish several projects requiring epoxy. Many more updates to come! Stay Tuned!
